Three SIMAGIC announcements ahead of Frankfurt

SIMAGIC presented the P-Active active pedal and two steering wheels, the Aston Martin Valkyrie and KTM X-BOW GT2, at The Next Lap on 14 October. The launch precedes SimRacing Expo Frankfurt, which runs from 16 to 18 October 2026. Official product pages are already available for P-Active and Valkyrie.

P-Active preorders are open, while the global store accepts orders for the Valkyrie wheel. KTM X-BOW GT2 is at a different stage: SIMAGIC says it will arrive in December 2026 and will reveal pricing closer to launch. We have not yet verified an active purchase page for that wheel.

P-Active: servo-driven pedal feel

According to SIMAGIC, P-Active uses a servo motor to recreate spring, elastomer and hydraulic pedal responses through SimPro settings. Its behaviour can be tuned in software, including force, linearity and dead zones, alongside adjustments for travel, angle and position.

The manufacturer also lists telemetry-driven effects covering ABS, traction control, wheel lock and slip, engine RPM, clutch bite point and gear changes. Which effects can be used will depend on the compatible data supplied by the simulator and the configuration applied.

What the 250 kg sensor specification means

The specification lists dual load-cell sensors rated at 250 kg and 16-bit resolution. This describes sensor capacity: another official technical panel separately identifies a 180 kg software limit. It does not establish that the motor generates 250 kg of active force against the driver’s foot.

Official dimensions are 335.9 × 87 × 241.5 mm, with a weight of 6.12 kg. The pedal face combines aluminium alloy and rubber; the body uses CNC-machined aluminium, polycarbonate and rubber. These measurements are useful when checking the space available on an existing pedal deck.

Connections and P1000/P2000 mounting

SIMAGIC lists connectivity to a PC or its own wheelbases and includes the control box. The package contains a P1000 adapter kit, a P2000 profile adapter kit, screws, cables, a quick guide and stickers. P-Active Base Plate is listed as an optional accessory.

The documentation shows installations on P1000 and P2000 platforms or on the dedicated baseplate. The latter can accommodate third-party throttle and clutch pedals. That physical mounting possibility should be distinguished from the specific electronic compatibility of each pedal or simulator.

Valkyrie: carbon fibre, magnesium and Alcantara

Aston Martin Valkyrie is an officially licensed replica developed from the original wheel’s specifications. It has a 320 mm diameter, a carbon-fibre front, a magnesium-alloy rear shell and Alcantara grips. The stated weight is 1.72 kg excluding the quick release.

SIMAGIC specifies the AM QR50 system and a UP+ design with interchangeable paddle modules. Buyers are asked to identify their wheelbase family—Alpha EVO, Alpha or a third-party model—so that the appropriate connection and accessories can be selected.

Valkyrie touchscreen, controls and software

The five-inch colour touchscreen has a resolution of 480 × 800 pixels. It reproduces the official Valkyrie dashboard interface, with support announced for SimPro and SimHub. The manufacturer offers configuration of items including the dashboard, RPM LEDs and controls.

The wheel includes eight customisable RGB buttons, two five-way switches, two self-centring stalks, a start/stop button and a HALL paddle module. Its specification lists CAN FD, USB and Wi-Fi connections. Those connections alone do not establish universal wheelbase or console compatibility.

KTM X-BOW GT2: officially announced for December

SIMAGIC's partnership with KTM adds a wheel that reproduces the shape and proportions of the X-BOW GT2's controls. According to the manufacturer, its grips wrap around a one-piece aluminium frame. Their microfiber suede covering is bonded rather than stitched, avoiding exposed seams where the hands rest. These are the manufacturer's design claims, rather than findings from our own hands-on test.

The simulator version adds a seven-way joystick and a thumb encoder. Its touchscreen measures 5.5 inches, compared with the real car's 4.2-inch display cited in the presentation. Buttons have programmable RGB lighting, with LED rings around the encoders. A recreated KTM dashboard displays driving data; SimPro handles connection and setup, while SimHub supports custom dashboards.

At the rear, SIMAGIC describes modular UP+ shifters and dual-clutch paddles. An interchangeable backplate allows a MagLink Pro configuration for third-party wheelbases. The required modules, connections and included accessories will need checking against the final setup before purchase; this announcement does not establish console compatibility.

The schedule given on 14 October points to December 2026, with pricing to be shared nearer launch. No specific day or guaranteed shipping date was announced. This is a product announcement, and does not yet confirm that sales or preorders have opened.

SimPro 3.2.3: 21 Nm for EVO Pro and the DashLab editor

The official SimPro Manager 3.2.3 release notes, dated 14 October 2026, bring another update for existing EVO Pro owners: SIMAGIC allows its torque to be increased to 21 Nm free of charge after registering and logging in to SimPro. The account requirement is part of the announcement; the upgrade applies to the existing EVO Pro and should not be extended to other Alpha EVO bases without confirmation.

The same version introduces DashLab for designing custom dashboards and support for the Aston Martin Valkyrie wheel, with AM 1.1.7 firmware. It also adds telemetry and track maps for DiRT Rally 2.0, DiRT 4, rFactor 2, Le Mans Ultimate and RaceRoom. SIMAGIC's instructions say to close the game and Steam before updating and to check that the SimPro and device firmware versions are compatible.

Pricing, shipping and the final European cost

P-Active is listed for preorder at USD 999. The store states “Ships Nov 18”, meaning shipping is expected on 18 November; that message supplies no explicit year and does not guarantee delivery that day. Valkyrie starts at USD 799 and is orderable, but its product page does not specify a shipping date.

The configurator offers AirLink for Alpha EVO and MagLink Pro for Alpha or third-party wheelbases; the latter option displays a USD 45 surcharge. These are global-store prices in US dollars. Shipping is calculated at checkout, and the final European cost requires checking the destination, accessories and applicable tax conditions.
