GT Nova: a new GT wheel for 2027

Asetek Racing has unveiled GT Nova at SimRacing Expo Frankfurt, a 290 mm steering wheel intended for GT and endurance racing. Launch is planned for March 2027. It brings together a RaceView OLED display, MultiLink controls and access to settings through RaceHub Link, with quick release included.

The presentation establishes functions and specifications, rather than current purchasing availability. The checked documentation announces a launch and describes the product; it does not establish an open presale, stock or a dispatch date. Its schedule is separate from the DD10 wheelbase covered in the related article below.

RaceView and MultiLink: select a setting, then adjust it

RaceView is a 1.3-inch white OLED display with a 128 × 64-pixel resolution. Asetek says it shows telemetry such as gear and speed, identifies MultiLink settings and provides access to RaceHub Link. RevLEDs and addressable RGB button lighting accompany the screen.

MultiLink assigns up to twelve settings to the left rotary selector and adjusts the selected setting with the left thumb encoder. The official recap lists ABS, traction control, brake balance, differential and volume as examples. It reuses those two controls for multiple parameters with on-screen labels; it does not establish identical function support in every game.

RaceHub Link brings ecosystem settings to the wheel

Through RaceHub Link, Asetek announces access from the wheel to wheelbase, pedal and steering-wheel settings, alongside preset changes. The landing page gives force-feedback strength, steering range and damping as examples. RaceHub for Windows remains available for deeper tuning of the setup.

Asetek limits RaceHub Link to its own ecosystem. Mounting the wheel on a third-party base does not automatically extend those adjustments to that hardware. The company also plans RaceHub Link for Forte Formula Pro and Invicta; this future expansion is separate from Virtual Button Box, the touchscreen feature launched in August.

LMP Mk.II handles and Hall-sensor shifters

GT Nova introduces interchangeable LMP Mk.II handles. Asetek attributes the redesign to comfort over long sessions; that is the manufacturer’s intended benefit, rather than a tested finding. Construction uses glass-fibre-reinforced polymer and the announced net weight is 1,450 g.

The two magnetic shifter paddles use Hall sensors. Asetek describes shorter travel and a defined end stop, and includes interchangeable rubber stops for a softer, quieter action. Magnetic Input Paddles and Clutch Paddles can also be added; support for those upgrades does not make extra paddles part of the basic package.

Controls, lighting and third-party wheelbases

The specification table lists thirteen push buttons, two thumb encoders, two seven-way Kinky Switches and two rotary selectors. Lighting is broken down into twelve backlit push buttons, eleven RevLEDs, twenty-four rotary-switch LEDs and one push-button LED.

Asetek Racing Quick Release is included. The page requires an adapter sold separately for third-party wheelbases. Check the precise combination before planning an installation: Xbox compatibility of the DD10 base does not by itself confirm console support for this new wheel.

€299.99 with a specific VAT reference

The European landing page and official recap checked announce €299.99 including 19% VAT. For the United States, the landing page states US$299.99 excluding sales tax. These are independent manufacturer regional prices without conversion; the European figure must not be presented as a final price including Spain’s 21% VAT.

Asetek says taxes and VAT are calculated according to country and region and that prices may change. We do not calculate a replacement figure or add unconfirmed shipping costs. March 2027 remains the planned launch: final order, delivery and compatibility conditions will need checking when sales open.
