Ascher Aura GT: 320 mm wheels and a button plate with USB or Simucube Link
Ascher unveils Aura GT 32R, 32D and Base: 54 physical inputs, 21 RGB LEDs and USB or Simucube Link versions. Launch is planned for the first quarter of 2027.
Launch planned for the first quarter of 2027; prices to be announced

Ascher expands its GT range with three configurations
Ascher Racing has unveiled Aura GT, a new family offering a complete 320 mm wheel or a standalone button plate for a separate rim. The brand announces USB and Simucube Link versions and targets the first quarter of 2027 for launch, with the range being introduced as SimRacing Expo Frankfurt opens.
The design combines illuminated controls, magnetic shifters and analogue dual-clutch paddles. According to Ascher, both connection versions share the same controls and basic functions; their main differences are how they communicate with the setup and which software they use.
Aura GT 32R, 32D and Base: shape and finish options
Aura GT 32R has a round 320 mm rim. The 32D retains that diameter with a flat-bottom shape. Both will offer leather or suede finishes. Aura GT Base is the standalone button plate for those wishing to use a third-party rim with a 6 × 70 mm mounting pattern.
The brand has yet to publish a tested rim compatibility list, explaining that these tests will begin after the Expo. A matching bolt pattern should be distinguished from confirmation that a particular rim provides suitable clearance and access to the controls.

54 physical inputs and over 100 functions through Magic Modes
The announced layout includes eight RGB-backlit buttons with interchangeable caps, two pushable thumb encoders, two seven-way joysticks and two twelve-position rotary switches. The latter accept Ascher’s optional Focus Shrouds.
Ascher counts 54 physical inputs and more than 100 programmable functions through Magic Modes. These are input and assignment counts, rather than separate physical buttons. The Function Selector is intended to show active modes and values, and the brand announces integration with its DDUs.
21 RGB LEDs for shift lights and telemetry alerts
Aura GT incorporates 21 individually addressable RGB LEDs arranged in groups of 3, 15 and 3. Ascher intends them for shift indications and alerts relating to ABS, traction control and other vehicle data. Configuration depends on the chosen version’s software and on the telemetry supplied by the simulator.
GEN6 magnetic shifters and analogue dual clutch
The rear combines two GEN6 magnetic shift paddles with two analogue clutch paddles. Ascher announces three-way position adjustment for both shifters and clutches. The manufacturer describes the shift feel as quiet and crisp; that assessment comes from the brand and has yet to be independently tested.

USB with SimHub or Simucube Link with Tuner
The USB version uses a Binder M16 connection or USB-C through a compatible quick release with data passthrough. It runs with SimHub. The Simucube Link version uses Simucube Tuner and Simucube 3’s LightBridge technology, designed to communicate with the wheel without a visible cable.
Ascher describes compatibility with PC wheelbases that accept third-party wheels through a suitable quick release. Its list includes Simucube, Fanatec, Asetek, VRS, Sim-Lab, Simagic, MOZA and PXN, among others. This does not confirm a direct connection to every base or console compatibility: the version and adapters must suit the setup.
Launch timing, prices and preorders: what is confirmed
The main launch target is the first quarter of 2027. In its FAQ, Ascher adds that it will try to ship some first units before the end of 2026, presenting this as a possibility rather than a committed date.
Prices remain unannounced. The brand envisages a future presale and offers a notification form, without announcing that presales have opened. It also gives no specific dispatch date, shipping costs or tax terms. We will update this article when verifiable pricing and commercial terms are available.
