A cockpit built around finding the right driving position
SimUltimate now has an official SU-GT2 product page as SimRacing Expo Frankfurt 2026 opens. The design combines an aluminium-profile chassis, tool-free wheelbase and pedal adjustments and cable channels built into the structure. The manufacturer describes a driving position inspired by GT and sports cars.
The practical focus is on setting the distance, height and angle of the controls for each driver. SimUltimate also describes rally and road-car configurations. Claimed rigidity under Direct Drive loads comes from the manufacturer; no independent deflection measurement or unspecified torque limit is presented here.
What adjusts without tools
The product page specifically identifies the wheelbase mount and pedal platform as allowing quick tool-free adjustment. It also describes repositioning seat brackets and other components to establish the driving position, without saying that the entire cockpit can be assembled without tools.
For a shared simulator or different racing disciplines, changing control positions can make a change of posture easier. Its usefulness will depend on the actual adjustment travel and installed hardware; adjustment-range measurements and comparative adjustment times are not provided.

Three mounts to match the wheelbase
The official compatibility table separates three mount versions. The choice matters: compatibility depends on the specific mounting arrangement and sometimes requires brand-specific parts. A listed manufacturer does not mean every model uses the same attachment.
- Direct Drive Front Mount V2: lists Simucube, VNM, VRS, Simagic and CONSPIT families. Simagic Alpha EVO and CONSPIT Ares require the stated brand-specific front-mount brackets.
- Asetek/Fanatec Front Mount V2: targets the Asetek and Fanatec bases listed in the manufacturer’s table.
- Wheel Deck V2: its list includes models from MOZA, Simagic, CONSPIT, Fanatec, VNM, Sim-Lab TorqueSync and Simucube.
Pedal platform and documented compatibility
The pedal platform offers a broad mounting layout. Among the named sets are Simagic P500, P700, P1000 and P2000; Heusinkveld Sprint and Ultimate+; MOZA CRP2 and mBooster; Simucube ActivePedal Pro and Ultimate; and Sim-Lab XP1. The page also lists Fanatec, Logitech, Thrustmaster, CONSPIT, Asetek and VNM sets.
Check the exact model, bolt pattern and selected mount before ordering. These are mounting possibilities stated by SimUltimate; the chassis does not establish electronic compatibility between peripherals or gaming platforms.
Cable routing inside the profiles
The SU-GT2 also integrates channels that route cables through the aluminium profiles to keep the cockpit wiring tidy. The detail render illustrates that route; it does not demonstrate a finished installation or establish that cables, power supplies or peripherals are supplied.

EUR 1,099 preorders for all three versions
The EU store checked on October 18 lets customers select Direct Drive Front Mount V2, Asetek/Fanatec Front Mount V2 or Wheel Deck V2. Each version displays EUR 1,099 including VAT and a preorder button. The page retains announced availability from December 17, 2026: this is a planned date, rather than confirmation of immediate stock or a guarantee of delivery that day.
A complete contents list for each version is not clearly established either. The images do not justify treating a seat, wheelbase, wheel, pedals, monitor or accessories as included. SimUltimate says European orders ship from its warehouse in Germany; order-specific shipping costs and timing require confirmation with the store.
