Sim-Lab unveils GTSL Ultimate with colour display for Frankfurt
Sim-Lab confirms the GTSL Ultimate for SimRacing Expo 2026: colour display, hands-on demos at stand B10 and differences from the GTSL Pro in our catalogue.
Demonstrations from 16 to 18 October 2026 · Sales launch and price still to be confirmed

Visitors can try the GTSL Ultimate at stand B10
Sim-Lab has announced the GTSL Ultimate, a steering wheel with an integrated colour display that the company will show for the first time at SimRacing Expo Frankfurt 2026. The official post, dated 14 October, invites visitors to try it at stand B10 from 16 to 18 October.
The manufacturer says the Ultimate is built on the GTSL platform. That provides useful context alongside the GTSL Pro already listed in the SimSales catalogue, although the announcement does not yet explain which components or dimensions the two models share.
Colour display and illuminated controls: what is confirmed
The integrated display is the clearest difference from the GTSL Pro shown on Sim-Lab's official product page. The Ultimate image shows driving information in the centre of the wheel, but the brand has not yet specified the display's size, resolution or customisation options.
The announcement also confirms illuminated controls. Shift lights and backlit controls are already part of the Pro's equipment, so they should not be presented as features exclusive to the Ultimate.
- Integrated colour display.
- LED gearshift indicators.
- Illuminated rotary controls.
- Backlit buttons.
What the GTSL Pro in our catalogue offers
For reference, Sim-Lab specifies a diameter of 300 mm and a weight of 1,580 g for the GTSL Pro, with an aluminium body and carbon-fibre front plate. Its product page lists 12 buttons, six rotary controls, two seven-function switches and dual-clutch paddles.
These figures apply to the Pro. They help put the current GTSL family offering in context alongside the new version with a display, but the Ultimate announcement does not yet establish whether it has the same diameter, weight, materials or number of controls. A link to the Pro's listing in our catalogue appears at the end of this article.

Connections and compatibility: the Pro as a reference
The Pro's official product page describes a seven-pin-to-USB cable connection, use with PC wheelbases and a 70 mm mounting pattern. It also lists compatibility with RaceDirector and SimHub. These details are useful when checking an existing setup before considering a different steering wheel.
Sim-Lab has not yet published these specifications for the Ultimate. The reference to the GTSL platform alone does not confirm its connections, wheelbase or console compatibility, supported software or included accessories. Those details will be needed to assess whether it suits a particular cockpit.

GTSL Ultimate price and availability
The official announcement does not give a price, a pre-order opening date or a shipping date. The 16 to 18 October dates refer to its presentation and demonstration at the show; they do not establish when it will go on sale to the public.
A buying comparison with the Pro will also require the Ultimate's final price and applicable taxes, full specifications and package contents. We will update this article when Sim-Lab confirms those details. For now, the verified news is the steering wheel with a display and the opportunity to try it in Frankfurt.
