RECARO brings its seats to sim racing with Manthey
RECARO presents simulator seating with Podium CF and Pole Position options. Demonstrations run 16–18 October in Frankfurt; no prices have been published.
Expo presentation and demonstrations; commercial terms still to be detailed

RECARO simulator seats presented in Frankfurt
RECARO Automotive announced its simulator seating proposal on 16 October during SimRacing Expo Frankfurt 2026. The company is bringing its experience in ergonomics and motorsport seating to virtual driving, with demonstrations alongside Manthey Racing. The release confirms the project and exhibition trials, but does not yet define a complete commercial offer.
The brand describes a choice of genuine RECARO seat and illustrates it with a simulation driving position. This establishes the project’s approach, but does not identify a fixed package of cockpit, wheelbase, steering wheel, pedals and computer ready to purchase.
Podium CF and Pole Position: choosing a seat
The announcement explicitly names Podium CF, described as a high-performance shell seat, and Pole Position, described as a sporty bucket seat. These are established RECARO seat families: the release presents their use in simulation rather than announcing two previously unseen seat designs.
The note does not specify the particular Pole Position variant or detail dimensions, brackets, sliders or adapters for this application. Specifications or certifications from other automotive catalogue versions therefore do not establish installation in a particular sim cockpit.

Ergonomics as the manufacturer’s focus
RECARO places driving posture and body support at the centre of its proposal. The release links ergonomics to the perception of virtual vehicle dynamics and draws on more than 50 years of motorsport experience. These are manufacturer claims, without an independent SimSales test or a quantified lap-time improvement.
When preparing a driving position, choosing the seat also means checking body fit and integration with the steering wheel and pedals. The announcement does not yet provide a compatibility table or a specific adjustment system to settle that installation.
A shared space with Manthey Racing
RECARO and Manthey share a stand designed as a motorsport pit garage and flanked by two Manthey race cars. The manufacturer presents the setting as a link between real racing and simulation, without assigning the displayed cars’ technical characteristics to the simulator.
The release notes Manthey’s esports involvement through the Porsche Esports Endurance Trophy Nürburgring and its use of simulators for driver development and preparation. This explains the exhibition partnership; it does not mean that championship or particular software is included with RECARO’s proposal.

Where to try them and what remains unknown
Demonstrations are announced for 16–18 October 2026 in Hall 12, stand CD15-16. RECARO’s official sim racing page invites visitors to the shared Manthey space and provides a contact route for enquiries. This is a demonstration opportunity, rather than confirmation of stock or immediate dispatch.
Prices, tax treatment, included components, ordering conditions and delivery times remain unpublished. Gaming platforms and electronic compatibility are also not detailed. The confirmed news is the presentation of the RECARO seating proposal; we will add commercial terms when the manufacturer publishes them.
