RENNSPORT announces Hypercar Expansion Pack with four prototypes
The official RENNSPORT listing confirms Aston Martin, Toyota, Lamborghini and Genesis, plus a Hypercar class rework. The DLC has no announced price or release date.
Coming soon on Steam; no price or release date announced

Four Hypercars confirmed by the official listing
RENNSPORT now has an official Steam listing for Hypercar Expansion Pack. It identifies four prototypes from Aston Martin, Toyota, Lamborghini and Genesis and announces a Hypercar class physics rework alongside the pack. This is paid downloadable content requiring the base game.
Checked on 16 October, the opening day of SimRacing Expo Frankfurt 2026, the listing still says Coming soon. Players can follow it or add it to their wishlist, but there is no immediate purchase or confirmed launch day. No European price is listed either.
Included cars: the announced names and engines
The studio’s description lists the following four models. For Toyota, we use the name written in the official listing: GR010 Hybrid. These names and details are the developer’s published description, rather than independently measured characteristics of the simulation.
The selection spans different engine layouts, from Aston Martin’s naturally aspirated V12 to the turbocharged engines of the other prototypes. The developer describes Toyota’s all-wheel-drive hybrid deployment and Genesis’s twin-turbo V8 hybrid platform.
- Aston Martin Valkyrie LMH: naturally aspirated 6.5-litre Cosworth V12.
- Toyota GR010 Hybrid: twin-turbo V6 and hybrid system.
- Lamborghini SC63 LMDh: 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8.
- Genesis GMR-001: twin-turbo V8 hybrid platform.

Physics, Balance of Performance and tyre changes
The page announces a comprehensive Hypercar division physics update, covering reworked Balance of Performance, hybrid battery deployment and tyre degradation over double stints. These are developer-announced changes intended to accompany the pack; a published store listing does not establish that they are already in the live game.
Balance of Performance shapes competition between cars, while energy use and tyre preservation affect race management. The description gives no tuning parameters, deployment modes or wear figures. It also does not explain which parts of the rework will arrive through an update independent of the DLC.

Steam, the base game and access conditions
The source checked is the Windows Steam version and requires RENNSPORT as the base game. The pack is classified as paid DLC without a listed price. A discount, pre-order or inclusion in an existing edition or pass cannot therefore be confirmed.
This listing does not set a release date for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S or other stores. The base game’s presence on those platforms does not establish the conditions of this content on each one.
What remains to be announced
In its Community Debrief of 8 October, the team reserved the full class line-up of its next expansion for Frankfurt. The new listing supplies specific names and the announced scope of the Hypercar pack, beyond the visual teasers shared earlier in the week.
Price, the commercial release schedule, platform-specific conditions and the details of the physics update remain pending. Those details will establish when the announced content actually becomes available to play.
