Description

The R295 G2 is the second-generation R295, listed as a separate model. It retains the 5 mm aluminium front plate and VRS-QR, adding redesigned non-slip grips and a dedicated USB port with an included magnetic-latch cable. This cable connects the controls to PC when another brand’s base has no USB pass-through. Magnetic retention does not mean Bluetooth.

Controls comprise ten RGB buttons, two 7-way switches, four thumb encoders and three backlit rotary encoders. There are two magnetic shifter paddles and two clutch paddles. The 24 lights comprise ten RPM indicators, four side proximity lights and ten RGB buttons. SimHub allows lighting and telemetry customization, including flags, fuel warnings and nearby cars, depending on the game and settings. Construction combines aluminium, a plastic back and bezel, and TPE grips. Official weight: 1.552 kg.

The box contains the R295 G2, stickers, a preinstalled wheel-side quick release and magnetic USB cable, but no base or pedals. VRS confirms DFP15 support and requires the QR Connect (u)DFP20 Adapter for DFP20/uDFP20; that adapter is not in the box list. The NRG-style VRS-QR uses a 50 mm bolt pattern; 70 mm bases require an adapter. Independent USB does not establish mechanical compatibility with every base. Confirm the complete mounting arrangement before buying.
