MOZA Ford Mustang GTD: the licensed wheel is now on sale
A 330 mm D-shaped rim, 2.99-inch display and Hall-effect paddles. MOZA has sold it since October 22, and its EU store lists it at €449.
On sale since October 22, 2026 in MOZA’s official store

From Gamescom to the store
MOZA Racing revealed the Ford Mustang GTD wheel at Gamescom in late August 2026 and later showed it at SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt, without a price or date at the time. According to launch coverage, it went on sale on October 22 at 9:00 EDT (15:00 in mainland Spain), the same day as the Airbus-licensed MA3F sidestick.
MOZA’s official EU store listed it at €449 when we checked it for our catalogue on October 23. It is a wheel only: it needs a MOZA base or, with an accessory, a third-party base.
Design and controls
The rim is D-shaped, 330 mm in diameter, with microfibre leather grips and a blue stripe at the top. The frame is aluminium alloy and the front and back plates are carbon-fibre-reinforced composite. A 2.99-inch HD display sits in the centre, which MOZA describes as fully customisable with official layouts.
The shift paddles are magnetic, anodised aluminium with Hall-effect sensors; the dual clutch paddles also use Hall sensors. MOZA cites testing to 200,000 presses per button and one million paddle actuations. These are manufacturer figures, not SimSales tests.
- 12 backlit front buttons and 2 rear buttons
- 4 × 12-position encoders with RGB indicators
- 2 seven-way funky switches and 2 thumb wheels
- 2 toggle switches with three modes in Pit House
- 10 RPM LEDs and 6 RGB flag LEDs
Compatibility: MOZA bases and PC
MOZA says the wheel mounts directly on every MOZA base currently on sale, using an all-aluminium quick release that carries data and power through a slip ring. Third-party bases require the MOZA Universal Hub Kit (RJ11 port) and a suitable mechanical adapter, and then it works on PC only.
The official listing does not mention PlayStation or Xbox support, so we do not treat it as confirmed. Before buying, check your base’s quick release and whether its force feedback works with third-party wheels.
Still to be confirmed
MOZA's official pages do not state the weight, the exact box contents or delivery times. An independent review cites about 2.23 kg with the quick release and optional extra paddles for about €50; MOZA does not confirm this in the sources we checked.
