Understand what the brake measures
A load cell measures force; an angle sensor measures movement. Check the exact brake specification, then compare the adjustment range you can actually use.
- Do not equate the sensor’s kilogram rating with force at your foot.
- Choose a repeatable, comfortable brake setting rather than the hardest one.

Plan a stable mounting
Heusinkveld requires a very rigid base for Sprint pedals. Your checklist should also include pedal mounting holes, heel support and a seat that stays in position.
- Check whether a baseplate and mounting bolts are included.
- At a desk, solve pedal and chair movement before increasing brake force.

Decide whether you need a clutch
Choose throttle and brake first. Add a clutch if your cars and driving style require a foot-operated one; check compatible add-ons for that pedal series.
- Verify whether the selected variant has two or three pedals.
- Do not buy a second clutch if your chosen set already includes it.

Confirm the connection and calibrate
Identify whether the variant connects to the PC directly or through a wheel base. For console use, verify the manufacturer’s supported route.
- Follow the model’s setup guide and check each axis in your game.
- Recheck calibration after mechanical adjustments, following the manual.
